The coCo Paul is a LP style guitar made by Convolution Instruments. This guitar is a requested custom job. The idea was to make an extraordinary LP style guitar with no plastics and with some extra sound features. The body is made of mahogany with a spalted maple top and ebony bindings. Neck is made of mirrored mahogany, with, in the middle of the heel a piece of wenge. Top of the headstock is rosewood. Fingerboard is ebony. The inlay is abalone. Pickguard is also made of ebony as well as the plates on the back. The truss rod is adjustable on the body side. Harder to adjust, but stronger for the stability and strength of the headstock. The scale length is 24.75″ which is typical for a LP style guitar. The bridge pickup is a Seymour Duncan Trembucker, and a DiMarzio PAF in the neck position. Both pickups can be switched from series to parallel mode by 2 pushpull potmeters.
